Description:
Use customer’s architectural blueprints to develop shop drawings in AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision to submit to the customer.
Update drawings once colors and field dimensions are known. Request information as needed from general contractors. Field measure jobs as required.
Coordinate with shop personnel, and shop foreman on the best methods of manufacturing. Incorporate this information into shop drawing designs (i.e., reception center sections, cabinet sizes/incremental sizes, material sizes, hardware functions)
Create production support documentation (i.e., cut lists, assembly sheets, part labels, bill of materials, shipping lists, CNC programs, etc.) to be sent to shop floor for production.
Monitor job through production to ensure that it is manufactured correctly. Re-program software as necessary to accommodate variations in manufacturing.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on individual’s experience and interests.
