best glue to use in the cold1/11
have a job to do on site, will have to glue up some mdf (mitre lock joints)
what glue would be best to use as the temp will be very cold??
I believe that i remember that Tightbond 3 is good down to 45 degrees. I use it in the winter when it is cold down near the floor in my shop.
Titebond Extend Wood Glue can be applied down to 40 F, but it is not for exterior use (water exposure).
If no concern of color and you have clamp, my suggestion is Akzo Nobel PUR glue. It is really cool for cold gluing application.
Is AkzoNobel available in North America? Why not?
Do you have some? What number? Check the label for the temperature that it can be applied...not storage or end use temperatures...and post answers.
