We have been asked to price an exterior kitchen, this is not something we have done before but is part of a large project that we are bidding. My question is what materials are used for the boxes, doors and drawer fronts, drawer boxes, slides, hinges, etc... Any help would be appreciated. Thank You
King Starboard is one of the products that will last for a long time outside.
The last I did was Stainless. So far, no problems.
If it is painted, I'd probably use Extira. Then, try to design so each level as you go up, extends out, and has a drip lip, to get the water from going back into the carcass. This can be just a simple groove in the bottom edge of all fronts.
If it has to be all wood, getting a awning shop to make Sunbrella covers would be a good idea.
