Ok not really but when I twist the power-on switch, it starts the motor without me pushing the button that starts the motor and cycles down the drill. I can't contact Blum until Monday morning. Any ideas what might be happening? Pressure switch maybe?
Thanks

Try opening up the switch, blowing all the dust out, and then spray some contact cleaner on switch parts. (unplug first, obviously) I've got a few machines in my shop that periodically won't turn on or won't turn off, this usually solves the problem.

I'll try this. I have a switch on the face of the control panel and a component inside the top cover. You're referring to the front face switch?
Thanks

Sounds like a stuck, burnt, or welded on start switch. Replace start switch. I don't know that machine but I have serviced industrial machines for 39 years and that is where I would start.

I got in touch with Jim at Blum and he suggested I try the Air switch (possibly a stuck shaft that's spring loaded) I did this and found it was fine so now I think I'm back to looking at electrical contacts. The switch is an air valve but the power switch is electrical. I post what I find is the problem for anyone's future reference.
