I used one in the last shop I was in for 11 years. A good sander for a few man shop. Biggest problem was with how the table attaches to the sander frame. We shop made a new bracket to hold it.

I have an older one. It's fine but I'd rather a more ridged table.

I have one and love it. I don't really have any issues with the table but it's the only one I've used so don't have any thing to compare it too

I bought this same machine about 10 years ago. I had bought a cheap non oscillating Chinese 6 x 89 edge sander a year before that. I noticed my employees standing in line to use the china sander and asked why they are not using my new expensive sander? They said they didn't like it and was too hard to keep on track. Well I do the same thing now, I reach for the Import first. I don't like the Vega, its hard to keep in track and already replaced the motor starter on it. I would suggest NOT to purchase this machine. Buy something else. At best this is a mediocre sander. I'd sell mine for $250 in a heartbeat, if your anywhere near Northeast Texas. Johnny

I am pretty particular about my machines. I have the Grizzly 6x108 sander and it is really nice cant ask for more.
I can just look at the Vega and tell that i would not like it.

What machine is "it"? The Grizzly?
I have been reading some very disturbing things about Grizzly quality lately and i have decided i wont be buying Grizzly ever again. Because i dont have time to waste diagnosing problems and having downtime to deal with stupid problems that should not even be.
