Legrabox vs vionaro3/26
Just did a 9' floating vanity using legrabox with tip on touch to open. We found it to be VERY fussy as the slides need to be adjusted to within 1/32 so they work properly and don't "click". We haven't used the legrabox without the tip on. I'm leaning towards the grass vionaro for the an upcoming job as there seems to be more adjustability and it uses a regular dynapro slide. Apparently one is supposed to use a 2-d slide. I used a 3D for a mock up and it works just fine (double adjustment...locking devices and inside the metal sides....and no notching for the bottom like the legrabox)
We use the Legrabox regularly and love it. It was a little finicky at first but after you use it a couple of times it gets easier. I find it to be very accurate as far as positioning the drawer fronts on the cabinet. I have not used the grass version but I have had it demonstrated to me by a rep. It does look a little simpler to assemble. But here is my 2 cents, Blum is a forward thinking company that is always developing innovative hardware that gives designers and cabinet builders more options for their cabinetry. Grass seems to always being playing catch up to whatever Blum is coming out with. I also prefer the soft close motion of Blum compared to the air soft close on the Grass, so that is factor for me. I know Blum offers 4 sizes now but am not sure what Grass is offering. Does grass offer a front system for interior roll-outs? The Legarbox interior roll out looks fantastic! I feel like the Legrabox is a little higher end product overall.
Agree with David. Blum always seems to be ahead of the competition. We use the legra box with cnc and cabinet vision ucs for the drawer.
Legrabox are nice but the base milling is a pain
We are having some issues with some legrabox drawers... Basically the back is not clicking to the sides
We are using walnut ply. Is this the problem? Does it need to be chip board? The metal bracket aligns where it is supposed to but it is not pressing in.
We are on deadline, any help would be a lifesaver.
