Minimax vs Hammer11/20
I’m about to order either a Minimax S315 Elite, or a similarly equipped Hammer K4.
From what I’ve looked at the Minimax seems to be built a bit better.
I’d love any feedback you can offer. I know that either way it will be a huge step up from my Grizzly cabinet saw.
We have the SCM saw its branded as a Cassadi saw but has the SCM plate on it.
We were trying to get a Casadei but found out the one we want won't be in the country until January sometime . Looks like I'm going with Minimax . We are replacing a grizzly. I tell you when I built the shop money was low so I bought a grizzly slider the saw has been great . But now we have out grown it and would like a higher quality machine. I thought the Felder was a nice machine but high priced , but never looked at the Hammer line though.
SCMI always has the parts we need. Belts etc. the parts people are just excellent
Much heavier machine. Forget the Hammer or Minimax. You will outgrow them fast
We ordered the Minimax. I was fairly certain we would go that direction. It has a few more features, takes standard blades, and weighs about 500 lbs more which just makes me feel good.
