How can I section a door with a smaller panel on top and a bigger one on the bottom? I can make it equal but 2 different sizes. I would also like the top opening for glass but will settle for unequal panel s and do the glass by hand if it's to hard to explain on here. Thanks in advance.

That's a been a popular request for CV for years and has yet to be implemented, but there are several ways to work around it. If you have CV Ultimate, you can create a custom route of whatever size you need, also using the same toolset you use for your standard MDF doors, and have it triggered by a UCS. Another was is for you to manually create a custom route on a door-by-door basis, if UCSs are a challenge. If you're on CV support plan, their forums are a better place to get help.

We purchased a cnc and the cv at an auction so we have know support. I have zero cv experience other then what I have figured out my self. I have asked some questions on a cv forum but it looks like it isn't around anymore. Where would I begin with the custom route?

First, I'd recommend drinking the kool-aid and paying the yearly support fee so you can get onto their forum. It's expensive, but you get access to a ton of resources and knowledge: training videos, documentation, and hundreds of other users to help. Otherwise you have a high powered program but no idea how to get the most from it, and it's not exactly easy to figure out just with brute force.

Second, do you have Solid Ultimate? If you don't know, click the blue question mark under the X in the upper right corner. The popup will tell you what version you've got. For S2M, launch the S2M standalone program instead of from within Cabinet Vision, and hit the question mark again.

Not positive with S2M Standard, but I believe you can manually add CNC operations to a part. Make a cabinet, give it a blank MDF slab door (not a routed MDF door that already has a recessed area, because you want to give it either multiple panels or odd sized panels), then edit the cabinet and go into Face view. Select and edit the slab door, go to the CAM tab, use the rectangle tool and make a recess where you want. Edit the rectangle to change its depth, type (set it to Pocket), and Tool (use whatever tool or tool set you use to route out a normal MDF door panel). That's the gist of it.
