vortex double round over bit

I need to cut some cherry pieces that have to have both edges rounded. They will be in a custom built jig but I am worried about tear out on the radius in the endgrain of the parts. The parts are small 1/2 circle frames.
I plan to use a roughing tool to cut most of the material and the vortex 3600 series bit to finish the edge and make the round over cut.
I am doing my best to limit sanding on these parts.

I have not used this particular bit, but in general climb cutting this sort of thing makes for the best results. Try a rough pass then a light finish pass of about 5/1000. Also depending on how well your z registration is you need to make the part a hair smaller than the nominal opening for the bit.

Best practice for cutting solids is to cut the endgrain first. When you then cut with the grain, it will clean up minor tear out from the endgrain cut. Climb cut all sides, or at least the grain.

It gets a little tricky cutting an 11" circle to cut the endgrain first. I know I could get counter rotating bits but I would like to avoid the toolchange.
