Nesting MDF Doors2/13
New to MDF door nesting on CNC, using Mozaik with GLCT. Looking to see if anyone else is using the same software and tooling?
Looking on what works best, using the outer profile to profile and cut the door free or use a compression bit to cut the door free, then run the profile tool. If the second, what kind of spacing are you using? Thanks
Diamond tooling if you can.
All the profile work first, then separate, even if it means an extra tool change.
I do shaker doors in this order:
90 degree V bit if needed for an outside bevel
The extra 20 seconds for the extra tool change is less expensive than redoing a drawer front or two if they move slightly.
