sanding with cnc4/18
looking for someone that has sanded with a cnc . I need to sand small parts that are sometimes to hard to sand by hand and wanted to know if anyone has burnished or sanded or? any lead on bits or experiences would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to get rid of fine pencil finish from small stepover. we want an 800 grit equivilent finish. best Mike
This is the only time I've seen it: https://www.instagram.com/p/_Ag5TMyWVx/
Done on a grid table with pods and a floating head aggregate on the C. Can be done. Not the best use of time or the machine.
I used to use Craytex rods to put an engine turn finish on metals. They come in varying grits. Probably do the job for you. I used half inch diameter, fit nicely in the collet.
