Our shop was hit with a flood a few weeks ago that covered my building in 12" of water. We are a mid-sized shop with 25 employees and we rely heavily on our CNC machine as it cuts all our boxes, countertops, and SS. We currently have a 2012 Biesse Rover A that we bought new and it has been great. Our machine was submerged in 12" of water for about 7 hours, but we managed to air it out and get it running. We have had some struggles with it the past 2 weeks since the flood and are going to replace it immediately, to avoid any potential long downtime due to water issues. There is only one Rover A available that fits the size and options we need, but cannot get it for 3 months. There is a Homag N-300 available with the options we need and we could have it immediately. I have not seen any posts on the N-300 on this forum and looking for input comparing the two machines. I'm not sure I can wait 3 months for the Biesse and take any chances of my current machine going down. On the other hand, I do not want to buy the N-300 if its capabilities are far less than the Rover A. I trust my Biesse sales rep but both companies are telling me contrasting information.
Both machines would have auto pre-labeler, onload/offload.
Any help would be appreciated as I need to make my decisions in a few days. THANKS.
