HSK-63f tool stand
1/28/20
Looking for input on tool tightening stands for our cnc machine. Need one thats easy and simple but holds up. The new roller lock type look pretty good but my concern is if mounted on machine that sawdust and such could be problematic if operator doesn't stay on top of it. (HSK-63F-ER40 Holder and collet)
Thanks

We have a tool changing bench. I would not mount it on the machine.

Should be bench mounted, not machine mounted. I tried out an aggregate from Tekniks recently. They sent along a tightening stand that I liked. They have more than one to choose from. The stand we use had to be modified for the aggregates, but newer stands are ready for them.

We sell both types, including the Techniks and other Mfg
Would agree, a column or table is best to avoid dust contamination.

Ball bearing stand and torque wrench. Well worth the money.
We keep all depths and torque settings on a chart right there.
Money well spent

We can help with that also if needed. We mounted our stand on the vacuum pump frame to get away from the dust if you don't have a bench handy

I mounted one of the roller type on my Rover about 9 years ago and it has worked fine for me ever since. I did put a dust cover on it, mine is a shipping cap from HSD rebuilt iso 30 spindle, fits over HSk 63 F roller stand perfectly.

Thanks for all the replies, will be going with the standard type as that should more than meet our needs. It will be mounted to machine as is the one that's being replaced. When a cutter is changed it is calibrated for length with the machine so having a separate bench area for tool changing is not really needed. Again thanks for all the Input.
