Most protective wax1/21
I make traditional Spanish classical and flamenco guitars. I finish them with French polished shellac, because that is the best finish for tone. As you all no doubt know, shellac is not the most durable finish, and I'm looking to give it a bit of resistance to perspiration, among other things, by applying a coat of wax. The two that I have as likely candidates are Turtle Super Hard Shell, and Renaissance. Any opinions or suggestions?
Check out Meguiar's. Comes in a red bottle.
Johnson's Paste Wax, i believe it to be a good choice. it is tried and true with no hockus-pockus or foreign names can't beat the price. good luck rm
