Primer and Tinted Top Coat color change when touched6/2
Hey all, have an issue that I have never seen before. Hoping someone has the knowledge of what this could be.
For our White Doors we use a white primer and a tinted top coat.
When you touch the doors, a rust colored mark is left behind on doors that only have primer, but also once the tinted top coated is put on.
When your hands are dry it will not leave do this. When you get a bit of moisture on your hands is when this is happening.
Does anyone know what this could be?
i dont know what it is but I'm curious if you are using WB primer.
I'd like to know if the finisher is using black nitrile gloves.
Could it be an over catalyst issue? I've never seen it, but heard of weird things happening if the catalyst ratio isn't right
