Anyone spraying Turino from MLC?

Looking for information from anyone that's spraying MLC's Turino pigmented conversion varnish.

We are currently using Sherwin-Williams KemVar Plus, and we don't really have any problem with the paint itself, it's a great product.

There are some logistical benefits to buying from the local MLC dealer (quicker turnaround times, daily trucks, etc).

We've sprayed both MLC Resistant and Stealth and never were able to make either of them work consistently, we dealt with stuff like the micro-bubbles that a lot have mentioned here. I'm hoping Turino is proving to be far simpler, more consistent than Resistant or Stealth.

I spray Turino. It's excellent. 24 hour pot life, what's not to like. It's ready to scuff in 20 - 30 minutes and it powders nicely. I add approximately but I can get great results with 5% reduction. I'm using a Graco G40 gun with their ES 30:1 pump. I usually use a 409 tip. Sometimes I'm using a CATechnologies air-assist, 15:1 pump, same reduction ratios.

If I'm using my gravity gun, the coating likes a 1.4mm fluid needle/nozzle, but I'm enjoying great results with a 1.5mm fluid set.

Turino is a silky smooth coating. Use MLC standard lacquer thinner to reduce. Spray it over Clawlock or Level Primer. Make sure to always mix/stir your finish.

By example, Stealth has an 8 hour potlife. Plus, it has its own dedicated reducer, not lacquer thinner.

Resistant used to be my go-to. Plus, it yellows with time.

Did you try adding in 5% - 10% Flow Enhacer #2 (C163) to deal with the microfoaming issues?

Have you tried using MLC Flow Enhancer 2 with the stealth products or any of the other MLC post cats? it makes a huge difference, %% is actually recommended with stealth per data sheet but i tend to add a splash to my clawlock II as well.
