WoodMaxx bandsaw blades1/2
Has anyone had any experience using Kasco SharpTech - WoodMaxx bandsaw blades ? I see they are made in the USA & the price seems to be good.
Tom....The sales rep contacted me & is sending a 7&10 degree hook blade for trial. He indicated that they would be willing to mix the blades so you did not have to order 15 of each. Once I get the blades I will give them a run for the money & advise.
Got the samples & they cut really well. Am going to place an order. Sales rep said if you wish to buy a "mixed" box, it may take up to 2-weeks to receive the order.
Received my first box in November, late fall, only had time to use one before this cold wet weather set in. I found it to cut as well any blade I have used on my LT40 woodmizer.
Weather here finally dried up enough to get the mill out & saw a bit. The blades cut as good as any & maybe a bit better than others. A 21" locust cut like butter & a large beech was no problem. 7' seemed better on the locust, but not a lot of difference between the 7" & 10'.
I should add that I only tried the blades earlier this year. This time I actually got to give them a decent workout.
