auto engine to stationary

I am trying to convert a 4.3 auto engine to a stationary engine to power a generator for a portable band resaw. Is it possible to remove the computer and replace the fuel injection system and ignition, or would be easier to keep the electrical and reconnect. I plan on putting it in a enclosed trailer. Thanks Jim

check out a company like summit racing.
They carry all the parts you would need and give the advice you need.

That's a lot of engine for a generator to just power a bandsaw! Shouldn't you just use a 30hp on the mill, instead of a 150hp on the generator?

Why don't you just put an electric motor on the sawmill. Why the generator? Bob

sorry for the delay in responding. thank-you all for the input. At my shop I don't have enough power, and I hope to expand using the generator as a portable unit to power a 4s planer as well as other saws etc. in the future thanks Jim
