price for surfacing7/5
been in the woodworking buseness for 5 years and i am goig to start selling rough lumber. i am also going to offer the service of dimensioning. what are your views on a price per LI' or by the board foot and what are the going rates for this type of service?
Most places will surface a truck load of lumber, 15/16", hit or miss for .05 to .06 per bf.
Cost to run lumber through a moulder to produce s4s blanks is .15 to .20 per LF
Hope this helps a little
I have also heard this:
plane one side .12/ bd.ft.
I charge $.24 a lin. ft. for running through my Logosol, here in Oregon.
