What species of wood veneer is this?9/26
Hey everyone. I am trying to find this exact veneer. I believe it is quartered Ebony but I could easily be mistaken. It doesn't have any of the red associated with Macassar ebony - it is black and grey. Any information would be greatly appreciated as I attempt to replicate this exact veneer and finish. Any recommendations on sourcing for a sheet or two would also be appreciated!
Definitely reconstituted veneer, but I couldn't quickly find one to match.
Could be tree frog or laminate. You know...they look pretty convincing these days. Can't tell from the pic
