Moving our business to Minnesota8/8
We are most likely going to be moving our business from Idaho to Minnesota within the next year, somewhere about 2 hours outside Minneapolis. Does anyone know of some good resources in that area. Wood suppliers, tool suppliers and the like? Any help would be appreciated.
Depending on what direction out of Minneapolis, for hardwood I would try Renneberg Hardwoods. They are out of Menagha, MN, but they have some other offices, and I believe their distribution has a wide reach. I think we also used St. Croix Valley Hardwoods, depending on time constraints and pricing. For hardware and what not try Hardware Distributors Ltd. (HDL) or Holdahl Company. As far as tool suppliers and service goes, ACME Electric Tool Crib of the North is probably your best bet. They are a bit pricey, but you'll find just about whatever you need there. They have a few locations scattered througout ND and MN.
Hope this helps.
Check out (and probably join) the Lake States Lumber Association.
Thank you very much Jason. It will most likely be sometime with in the first part of next year, but I might be in touch with you soon.
