Thick Lumber Slab Business Workshop

A one day workshop that focuses on operating a profitable business sawing, drying and marketing thick lumber slabs. This workshop will be held in Morganton, North Carolina at the Burke County Agricultural Center. The cost is $30 a person and includes lunch. The website for workshop information and registration is https://outreach.cnr.ncsu.edu/ncwood. This workshop is supported by Sawmill Magazine and the Wood Education and Resource Center. The workshop will discuss the proposed Five Star Evaluation System for Slabs.
