We are currently seeking a Sales Representative – Industrial Wood Coatings to join our team of professionals. The Sales Representative will focus primarily on the Orlando market (residing in the Orlando territory), and will travel to the Jacksonville market twice per month with at least one overnight per travel.

Job Overview:

Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative is responsible to reach and surpass assigned sales goals. He/she will manage the day-to-day sales activities of 150+ buying accounts in the assigned territory and will develop business with new customers. The Sales Representative will manage the sales of vendors and Richelieu product offerings through structured sales presentations. He/She will also be responsible to participate in constant training to learn how products and services are used. The Sales Representative will work together with other team members to share ideas and solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Making sales calls on new and existing accounts
• Develop and deliver standard and customized presentations to new and existing customers
• Respond to sales inquiries and leads by phone, e-mail or in person
• Update customers on new products and pricing
• Develop and maintain customer database
• Input and maintain information in HighGear reporting system
• Responsible to communicate goals and deficiencies to Sales Manager
• Identify any sales gaps and provide ways to eliminate the gap
• Assist Sales Manager to establish and monitor proper product mix to maximize gross margin
• Participate in SPIFFS
• Distribute monthly promotional and overstock materials to customers
• Reprint, distribute and update the catalog and brochures as needed
• Assist Sales Manager to track contributions from suppliers
• Responsible to participate in constant training to learn how products and services are used
• Work with Sales Manager and other team members to share ideas and solutions
• Monitor competitors and market conditions
• Perform other assigned tasks when required

Additional duties:

• Responsible to achieve sales goals for an assigned territory
• Manage all day-to-day sales activities for assigned territory
• Assist the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets and goals

Job Requirements:

• College degree preferred (administration)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar sales position
• Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software an asset
• Must have knowledge of major accounts in the areas of industrial hardware, construction, renovation or a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel; computer skills
• Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Entrepreneurial business and management skills
• Professional attitude while being hands on
• Should possess initiative and creativity
• Can handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Good analytical, planning, organizing, and monitoring skills
• Energetic and dedicated to achieve the company goals and embrace the Richelieu culture
• Able to use all sales tools effectively
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Knowledge in woodworking industry a plus
