The woodworker is responsible for producing, crafting, and testing wood products such as spiral stairs, crates, and furniture using specialized tools.
Duties and responsibilities

• Safely set up and operate a table saw, jointer, shaper, band saw, etc.
• Use automated machinery, such as computerized numerical control (CNC) machines.
• Cut, shape, and smooth wooden parts.
• Repair wooden furniture, cabinets, and other wood products.
• Create wooden accents and trim.
• Painting, spraying, and color and stain matching wood for finishing.
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Cabinet making and/or stair building
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• High end custom woodworking experience preferred
• Strong work ethic
• Time Management
• Problem Solving
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is frequently required to stand/walk; squat/kneel; twist/turn; reach overheard and outward, and stoop, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee must be able to wear a fit-tested respirator if required.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Position type/ expected hours of work
This is a full-time position. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Some overtime may be required per business demands.
No travel is expected for this position.
