O.B. Williams Company, a custom architectural woodwork manufacturer located in Seattle Washington, is seeking a knowledgeable and highly motivated Operations Manager.
The Operations Manager plans, directs and coordinates the operations of the manufacturing organization. The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring and constantly improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the implementation of effective methods and strategies.
The Operations Manager reports to the President and directs all purchasing and production activities for both the Millwork and the Cabinet divisions of the firm.
Applicants must have a proven track record of leadership related to the manufacturing of custom millwork, mouldings, wood doors, paneling, casework and similar architectural woodwork.
To be successful in this position, the applicant must be a creative thinker, problem solver and effective manager with experience leading the development and implementation of efficient manufacturing strategies and processes. He or she must possess a high energy level and be capable of handling complex and demanding issues under pressure in a fast paced environment. Lean manufacturing training and implementation experience is highly desired.
