Title: Project Coordinator
Description: Performs a variety of administrative functions and tasks pertaining to project management. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works under immediate supervision.
Supervisor: Director of Project Management
Duties and Requirements:
Provides administrative support in all areas of Project Management.
Organizes and logs project information and correspondence in Sage 300 and Box.com. Project information and correspondence includes job scope and contact information, contracts, RFIs, change orders, and all other details pertaining to the project.
Keeps information provided by Project Managers up to date and assists with project reports to keep on track or progress and hit deadlines.
Able to generate change requests and create RFIs as directed by PM.
Performs general research and keeps up to date with product knowledge.
May work with Procurement at times.
Schedule must remain flexible and able to attend project meetings.
May schedule appointments, give information to callers, and take dictation.
Composes memos and transcribes notes.
May store, retrieve, and integrate information for dissemination to staff and clients.
Must be able to sit for long periods and able to use multiline telephone systems, personal computers, and fax machines.
General friendliness, cleanliness and positive attitude.
Identifies and eliminates Company-wide non-value added activities, by working with Operations Management to implement effective corrective and preventive actions by way of EOS and continuous improvement.
Provides individual contribution in problem solving efforts on selected projects to improve quality and reduce costs.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Requires a high school diploma with at least 2-4 years of experience.
Extremely organized, courteous, helpful and professional.
Proficient in keyboarding, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication.
Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, Windows-based applications and MS Office and Sage 300.
Discretion, good judgment, organizational or management ability, initiative, and the ability to work independently are essential
Communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are essential
