|A Finisher II is an entry level employee responsible for buffing and sanding product coming through the Finish Department as specified in the Shop Drawings. This position, with guidance, is also responsible for performing QC inspections of finished parts and correcting flaws before the product leaves the Finish Department.|
Tracks time accurately in ERP System and seeks assistance if questions arise.
Expedites cabinet components to the finish area as needed.
Quality checks parts provided by Detail and alerts the Finish Manager if corrective action is needed.
Assists the Finishers and other Finishers in tasks when needed.
Helps clean the Inline equipment when instructed by the Finish Foreman.
Keeps all areas clean, neat, and organized at all times.
Has none or less than 1 year of experience in detailing.
Learns quality standards of different projects and various client accounts.
Learns to read Work Orders and Shop Drawings.
Learns to perform required maintenance on hand tools, such as cleaning and sharpening.
Basic math skills are required: addition, subtraction, decimals, and basic geometry.
Basic reading skills are required: ability to read measurements, general information, safety rules, and company policies.
Must have basic computer skills to use ERP System.
Has the ability to use shop power tools with training.
Emphasizes safety first, quality second, and production third.
Inspires a team atmosphere and respects other employees.
Needs to have a strong work ethic and be willing to contribute.
Punctuality and regular attendance are essential.
Works overtime when needed.
Works in a professional manner with Supervisors and co-workers.
Eager to learn.
