Extremely rare and in impressive condition, Whitney 177 Rolling Table Tilting Arbor Saw. Built like a tank with a beautiful design, the machine accepts a 16" blade (16" Forrest WWII installed) and the rolling table will shift over for up to 4" dado stacks (dado not included). Cut capacity is 4" high.
Professionally reground cast iron tops, custom milled T-slot and matching miter gauge T-bar, new bearings throughout, and new magnetic starter.
The 7.5HP Woods direct drive motor is wired for 3 phase, 220v but can be rewired for 440v by simply swapping three wire connections.
Can be tested under power.
Add some new paint and you will have one of the rarest early sliding table saw's in practically new condition. They don't make them like this anymore.
