Digital Marketing Budget1/3
I'm in the process of putting together a marketing budget and plan for the year. Last year I spent about $2,000 in adwords, and I landed about $60,000 in work from it.
My intention is to budget closer to $20k for digital marketing this year. But I've only ever done adwords. Should I break down my spending and do a certain amount for facebook or linkedin ads as well?
My target customers are both GC's and end customers. And I like to do small TI jobs, custom retail fixtures, and other small to medium sized commercial jobs.
It seems you are targeting three groups: 1) consumers, 2) subcontract to business (GC), and 3) business end users.
Perhaps you want to research which platforms are more suitable for each - or not. Local GC's may use a different network altogether for example.
Also, maybe make some tests before initiating full campaigns and refine accordingly.
