Mixer lift success anyone?5/28
I saw the recent post about mixer lifts that was mostly critical Has anyone installed one and know of it being used happily?
It seems Revashelf makes the only one out there. Is there another one I can't find? I did several remounts of the Rev lift and determined that it had to be mounted 1/4" out of level to hold a 30 lb. mixer level at open position. I can live with that, but have still not met anyone that loves (or even likes) their lifter.
Also, is it meant to be just a lift or an actual working surface? It can hold the weight, but I can see a heavy lopsided dough ball shaking the thing off the shelf.
Rev-A-Shelf. Or KV Unfortunately, neither are what I'd consider high quality
A couple things that may aid in your installation:
-Zero Protrusion Hinges
-machine screws/washers/lock nuts (through-bolt mechanism to cab & appliance to slab
I recently ordered one from Hafele and it came in and was made by Grass.
Hafele # 504.20.900
I found the Hafelle unit. It's actually a KV product (#Hal-20, $40 less) .
Jim- do you know if the client uses it as a working surface? The Revi unit seemed to have excessive side sway for that kind of use.
Sold the same unit 5 times before tossing it during shop move. Talk about profit margins!!!
