Holz Her motor9/20
I am looking for a flush trim motor. Motor says TYP 2390. This is a 220 single phase machine. It is 1975 flush trimming station
Holz Her edgebander tag says 1435SF C PVC USA in the inside of the machine. Stickers on the outside says Holz Her 1432 CP/B.
Motor is junk with bad housing per a place that fixes Holz Her motors in CA. If anyone has a solution for this or do i have a glue only machine or giant paper weight.
That looks like a Bosch 1608 router motor (110 volt, I know)
Several on Ebay btw
Garen I had the same problem for my Brandt KD54. What I did was find, on eBay, a Kress 220V spindle that had identical mounting specs as the old spindle. Also, for the LE and TE end trim routers I found, I believe they were Bosch 120V grinders with correct mounting features. I sent the 220V for the cutoff saws to a 220V relay and the relay sent 120V to the cutoff saw. Many $$ saved.
Correction!! The grinders I used were Makita not Bosch.
I ended up finding a company that sells a Bosch motor that fits. They have a machined aluminium piece that goes on the grinder to attach to the mount. They were around 700 bucks each. Then the one motor had to have a different router bit then before with the different rotation on the motor. Had to do a little messing around to get them aligned correctly but it worked. Lucky I was able to find them. The one company I called was retiring and called a week before they were closing and they said they have someone that has a match. Saved the day until I can upgrade my edgebander.
