Optimisation program that exports to SCM Wincut5/15
Hi, my work has two beam saws. The operators are currently writing programs from the machines themselves and we would like to make this process more efficient with some optimisation software. I have been looking at Cutlist Plus and Cabinet Pro, however I wanted some advice about suitable options and if the two I listed will export to SCM Wincut.
Thanks in advance.
Are you looking for software to create the Partslist or just to optimize existing parts list for saw?
We have a Gabbiani saw running wincut we are using Ardis optimizer currently but there are several options.
We export parts files to our optimizer from excel sheets and also from 2020 product planer that exports parts list for larger custom jobs.
Feel free to e-mail me if you would like more info.
Well I guess we are looking for both. Our cutlists are all done by hand at the moment. I am trying to encourage the boss to convert to digital cutlists mainly for more efficient organisation and redundancy. However creating the parts list is pretty straight forward, I wanted to know if there was a reasonably priced software package for the optimisation that can export to Wincut.
We dont really need the All-in-one design to cutlist/parts list to optimisation because most of our work is creating cutlists from pre-drawn plans.
Cabinet Pro CNC allows direct entry of library cabinets for those who have pre-drawn plans and do not require 3D design.
Thanks Frank, I'll have a chat to my boss and show him some of the features.
