Replacement cartridge filters

Has anyone tried www.damnfilters.com for replacement air filters? I have an Oneida and their salesman is telling me I should use a synthetic filter for longer filter life.

You might want to give Wynn Environmental a call and talk to Dick Wynn. They are a good source for filters and flex hose for woodworking applications.

Thanks Jon. I’ll give them a shot. Have you had much experience with the synthetic filters and does Wynn offer them? Have you found a way to get around high freight costs on these items?

We have 6 -13 x 34 nano fiber filters on a 15hp cyclone. We have had them in place for 2 years. Holding up well so far. We are smaller shop, and blow them down a couple times a week, depending on what is running. If the wide belt is running, they need to be blown down more often. If the wide belt is not running, maybe not even once a week. We have a home made manometer to gauge the back pressure and blow them down when we have 3 or 4 inches of water back pressure.

Damn Filters is good. You might also try Environmental Filter since they make replacement cartridges as well.
