Hey guys and gals.
I have been staining and finishing double sided cabinet doors and plywood for 7.95 per sq ft. (This included front and back. )
This door is something like 36x80. Comes to 20 sq ft. Since this will be a pain to maneuver compared to what im setup for i doubled it to 40 and then multiplied by 7.95 getting me to $318.
My client is another business who is turning this around to his client to sell.
I will be using the chems i have in stock. ML Campbell's high build Krystal sealer and klearvar satin.
I know pricing is different based on your market.
Im just generally curious what you guys would charge someone to finish their supplied 36x80 barn door both sides with a stain and clearcoat.
Thanks for any and all input.
Sounds very reasonable to me.....
Sounds about right as long as there isn't a ton of prep work.
Shouldn't take more than an hour to stain and spray 2 clear coats should it? $350 seems high to me.
I think you hit the sweet spot. As long as you aren't spending a morning prepping it. Plus they take up a lot of room and they're not light and awkward to handle.
