paint booth floor11/11
Hi we are setting up a new paint booth to spray conversion varnish and wondering what product to spray on concrete to help cleanup or protect from buildup. Is it even possible, our last booth we had to grind the floor to remove the buildup when we removed the booth. Should we even be concerned, thanks for any info.
i saw a booth a few weeks ago that used synthetic roofing paper & they said it lays flat & makes barrier for the floor. dang & when i think i was smart someone shows me something new. so that's what we are going to instead of heavy paper floor shell. good luck
We Use #30 weight roofing felt taped down at the seams with black gorilla tape.... Last 6-12 months x 0ver 12 open faced booths and a few fully enclosed with heavy daily use and has a UL Rating......
I would also recommend a floor protection covering similar to the rolls of Ram board that you can buy from places like Home Depot. Tape the joints and the edges .
I agree with other fellows. You may buy a floor protection paper to reduce your mess. From my experience, I left it on my floor for almost two months in a very high traffic area, and I only had to repair a few very small tairs with painter's tape.
