Does anyone know about richlite? pricing and how to build a counter with a 3" edge?
This looks like a good place to start.
Made in Tacoma, Washington
Unless you're working with the full-thickness 1" material, Richlite can be a huge headache to work with. Can tell you that from experience, building up and flush trimming an edge on a top from 1/4" was difficult. Solid 3" material would be nightmarishly heavy, expensive and extremely tough to machine.
From what I've seen, the surface of Richlite top also fades considerably anywhere sun hits it.
