Shuanghuan horizontal band sawmill1/20
We are seriously considering buying a Shuanghuan horizontal band sawmill to slice up slabs but we canít find any reviews on it, does anyone know anything about the quality and or performance of this saw? Greatly appreciate any feedback on this!
Sorry I'm not familiar with those. I'm not sure what your needing or wanting to spend or rather it's for high production cutting or a lesser frequency needed.
I have a cooks 52 Superwide being finished built now to pick up in a few weeks due to changes I made. The Cook brothers have a good background in milling and correcting saw and sawing issues. Their basic set-up isn't for high production BUT precision sawing. It will be a great saw for wide slabs and they can set them up in many configurations ...including bandwheel sizes, blade widths, gas, electric, etc, etc.
I saw specialty wide slabs...With my Hud-son Farmboss I was limited to 28"....I will now have a 52" capability for the beautiful wide crotch figure and bowed logs.
I enjoyed your website. I'll keep it earmarked as I do repairs on old houses ocassionally and need a good source for parts.
Have a Blessed day. Tim
Thanks Tim, itís high production volume we need as well as precision and this saw is relatively inexpensive compared to others so hard to say but yes please let us know if you need any of our stuff for fixing up old houses, God bless you, Bob
Hmmmm, Chinese and relatively inexpensive machine in a high production volume, precision application. What could go wrong? You'll likely get low quality castings with balancing issues. Last Chinese bandsaw I ordered, came in with one side of the lower wheel filled with balance holes on the back side, and steel plates riveted on the opposite side. Nothing would stay on the table with the saw running. Luckily I ordered it from a US distributor, and they took it back.
