Quick lock insert moulder head1/12
Is any one using the quick lock moulder head. Would like to hear some input on this head.
I have 5 of these heads, love them. I have one of these on the last bottom head that I usually never take off. It makes really great cuts and the flexibility of the different tips from backouts to plows to side bevel. Expensive buy in but worth the cost, the change out time for a new set of blades couldn't be faster, on or off the machine. I put my vote for recommendation.
Thanks for the response. I'm trying to decide between the quick lock head and weinig's head. the weinig head is a little more than i can afford right now.
I actually don't use those but they would be for resetting to a dimension that you use often, like a back out or radius. I always set mine up with a digital micrometer.
Both Weinig and Quick lock are quality built cutter heads, we offer both styles in our tooling catalogs. If we can be of any help please feel free to contact us.
All the best Russ
