New wood door sill7/22
Wasn't sure where to post this but anyway...I'm putting in a new door that I made (stave core with mahog veneer) and am wondering what to use for the sill. There will be a storm door and the house has 2ft overhangs so there is protection.
I would like something thats gonna hold up and look good. Teak, ipe even ebony maybe with a oil finish. I know whatever goes down will get wear but I'd like it to look good over time. And don't even think about aluminum :).
Thanks for the help,
I would consider white oak.
Agreed, white oak, good contrast.
