Grandfather clock

I found plans for this, with a clock company that also had the works to the clock. It is all made from quarter sawn White Oak. I turned all the pieces did all the carving, fluteing and made all the moldings. I am a hobbiest gone wild. It was a challange to say the least. It is always something I wanted to do.

Close to 200 hours I had a bear of a time with the plans. They left a lot to be desired on the top hood part.

Very fine job. Admirable craftsmanship throughout. All the carving, fluting and turning must have tested your patience. It paid off.
