Thats freaky - where did you come up with the idea?
I came up with the idea while watching a branch blowing against a harsh with. The movement made fluid circular motions like an 8. If the branch stayed straight it would have snapped in two.

I wouldn't call it a chair if you couldn't sit on it. The front spiral is quite strong. I designed it for my body wieght, but it's sat 190lb.
