Nicely crafted door. I see your point but perhaps they could change the paint color to something more neutral and also paint the baseboard molding the same color to tone things down a bit.
Thanks xbrian,When I said wrong for the house, you would not believe how wrong. The house is a 1940's clap board, pier and beam affair, not a hint of asian or contemporary style. The only thing missing was a bowl of hard candy like at grandmas. I also built the mesquite and mahogany sink for this house. I designed everything based on input from the client. After seeing the house I tried to talk them out of it, but as I said they really wanted these. Three weeks after I installed everything they put the house on the market. More money than sense. Ivan
