Tom,
very nice work. What was the finish process?

The finish consisted of one coat custom blended fast dry wiping stain, let dry 20 min., a light coat of amber shellac to warm up the colour a bit - sprayed of course and allowed to dry 20 min. then sanded, and lastly 2 coats of Fuhr 255 low sheen wb. urethane. Takes 2 hours from start to finish per part and I can install.

Forgot to mention - the stain is solvent based, not wb. Goudy's Stains here in Toronto is all I use. This stuff reeks, might be naptha in it, I'm not sure. I think any fast dry would do the same.
