This is a wine rack in a room with one radiused wall. The rack and cabinet will hold up to 493 bottles. It has a medium brown stain with a satin lacquer clearcoat. It was brought in a many pcs as it wouldn't fit through the door. Assy was done on site in the room.

nice work.
what type of finish did you use?
how did you attach the bottle supports to the uprights and how did you layup the curved toe kick?

The stain was a spray on stain, no wipe.

The clearcoat was ML Campbell's Satin MagnaMax.

The supports were attached into an 1/8" deep dado, the two opposing supports were connected by a 1/4" x 2" dowel that went through the upright, clamped until the glue dried. All pcs were pre-stained before assy. Clearcoated after the subassembly was put together.

The toekick was just relief kerfed on the rear and pocket screwed to the base.

Room? Looks more like a big closet. That alone must have made it hard to work. Very nice job.

The room extends behind the camera about 6-7', so it is not as small as it looks in the picture. Thanks for looking Harry.

I love work that represents triumph of will power. Nothing like a million repetitive cuts to make a person crazy.
Nice Job.

Leo G,

Excellent craftsmanship throughout. Well thought design, fabrication, finishing, and installation.
Most people underestimate the beauty of Sapele until you build a wall out of it.It's becoming one of my favorites.
