This is a Murphy bed in my Euro style, which I usually use maple with cherry accents. On this one the customer wanted me to use quarter sawn oak. This is usually used on mission style furniture, but turned out great on this project. The stright lines of the quarter sawn oak was a great compliment to the contermerary styling of the Euro Style Murphy bed.
Another feature that was a first was the bookcases that were accessed from the inside of the cabinet. This make it pratical with some storage areas, but a real clean look when all closed up.
