Renovation Cabinetry

Listing #1687 Listed on: 01/09/2009 Name: Steve Mahovlic

Here is my first attempt at cabinets from scratch. I am a carpenter by trade and have done some finishing work in the past but these days I focus on complete renovations. Thanks to the great advice in "Building kitchen cabinets : expert advice from start to finish" by Udo Schmidt these cabinets went well.

The face frames are hard eastern maple; door panels maple ply; birch ply was used for the boxes.

Nice job matching the grain of the ply on the corner of the breakfast bar.

Thanks Sean & Mark. I pretty much followed Udo Schmidt's book using pocket hole joinery where I could.
