Very nice. The walk through cabinet.....very,very nice. The beading is worth the effort.

My partner and I were wondering what that would look like if each of the doors were tri-fold and they 'disappeared' into the casings on either side of the opening. I have seen window shutters done that way but never thought doing that for a partition. There are a lot of older homes here in southern Indiana that use a rudimentry form of the cabinet walk through, usually with a couple of columns to divide the left side of downstairs of a house into parlor and dining area. Usually Craftsman era. Again thank you for the posting. We have much enjoyed it.

Really, really nice. Looks like something you'd see in Fine Homebuilding.

Thank you for the kind comments. Gerald, I think your idea for the doors would work nicely. We did the four door opening to mimic the existing opening on the other side of the living room. Thanks again.

Beautiful work.
What finish do you use for the painted cabinets?
