Nice looking clock. I have made 2 grandfathers myself. They had a little more fancy stuff on them then yours. But I know the work that goes into it. Did you make all your own moldings and turn the spindles? Wasn't making that door for the clock face a challenge?
2 questions. 1 are you left handed? Never see the door swings go that way? 2nd. Bottom door panel. The inside piece of the raised panel. The grain should go up and vertical. Great job, they are a challenge to do.
