oak roll top desk

i made this roll top out of red oak and quartered oak in pannels and drawer fronts. 6 drawers, bottom 2 are 2fronts =1 file drawer. drawer boxes are made of poplar and i used soft close undermount guides. to make the tambour i used amana's lonnie bird router bit set to make a compleatly wood tambour, no canvase backing.

That's a real nice desk great job. The Dovetails look good . I like the Tambour too .
I' guessing you got it set up for a computer ?
It is a dark color .

thanks. i had a customer that that was interested in building a desk like this and he wanted it set up for a laptop and a printer on the side. but then backed out due to money issues. but i built this one anyways just to see how it worked. so i still have this desk here on display at my shop, waiting for someone to buy it. it is staine with minwax jacobean stain.
