Just finished this office/entertainment center area. It is made of Alder and I included a lot more knots than I have on other Alder projects. The raised panels and crown have the dark glaze. I thought it turned out pretty good. The lighting was kind of an after thought that really adds a lot. We are going to get a different computer monitor pretty soon, and the printer will move to the left shelf when we get a longer cord. Other than a little bedroom furniture, this should be the last project for the house. Hooray!
